RW is the best place in CLT to grow as a dancer! I started dancing salsa and bachata at another dance company in Charlotte. After a few months, I went to a dance event out of state and quickly realized that the caliber of training I’d been receiving at that first studio wasn’t helping me improve. That’s when I started taking classes at RW. In a little over a year, I went from struggling in intermediate classes at that first big event to feeling comfortable in advanced classes. Rodrigo and Wendy started building the Latin dance scene in Charlotte over 20 years ago, and as competitors have opened up around them, they’ve stuck around for a reason. They’re strong on technique, but they also care about their students, the community they’ve built, and making sure everyone leaves their classes feeling like they both learned something and had fun.
